This website has been designed so that as many people as possible can access it easily and intuitively. Even though there is currently no legal obligation for accessibility, we attach great importance to a user-friendly design.
No legal obligation according to BFSG
According to the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), certain digital services must be made accessible to consumers, especially if interaction takes place via electronic commerce – for example through online stores, booking platforms or customer portals.
Our website serves exclusively to provide general information about our company and our services. According to common legal interpretation, the contact forms provided (for requesting a callback or general contact) do not constitute a digital service within the meaning of the BFSG. Because:
Contact forms, chatbots or other contact information are usually used for general initial contact and are not aimed at concluding a consumer contract. Several intermediate steps are usually necessary in order to enter into concrete contract negotiations. Therefore, general contact forms are not considered “services in electronic commerce” within the meaning of the BFSG.
Therefore, there is currently no legal obligation to make our website accessible (Section 1 in conjunction with Section 2 BFSG).
Our voluntary commitment
Irrespective of legal requirements, we have voluntarily implemented various measures to improve accessibility:
- Clear page structure and simple navigation
- Reader-friendly font sizes and contrasts
- Alt texts for images and descriptive link texts
- Responsive design for mobile and stationary devices
We want to offer all users a good user experience – regardless of possible limitations. However, if you notice any barriers, we look forward to receiving your feedback via our contact form or by email to info@schulte-paletten.de
